We are now agents for Fyne Audio Speakers

It isn't often that a new speaker brand comes along nowadays that really makes people sit up and take notice. We heard these first at the Bristol Hifi Show and were really impressed ... so when Dave from Fyne rang us to see if we would like a closer look ... and listen, we jumped at the chance.

We listen to the small standmount Fyne 501 and the middle model of the range the F502, priced at £600 and £1200 respectively.  Both units have astonishing mid range clarity and really sang on the varied tracks we tried. They have a very 'musical' and engaging chararcter which usually isn't available at the price at all.

The F502 matched our demonstration room perfectly, but are quite clever designed in this respect having a downward firing port ... this has been done before to great effect, but Fyne also use a diffuser arrangement which controls how these frequencies exit into the room ... and it works well!

Want to start using your Rega Turntable again???

With the resurgence of interest in Vinyl, we have had a lot of enquiries about refurbishing or repairing old turntables that have been pulled out storage. Most of these have been 80s or 90s Rega Planars, partly because they are so robust and partly as there are a lot of them out there!

Be assured, we have never had to 'write off' a Rega, they are easy and fairly cheap to service... and most repairs are simple and cost effective.

We supply everything you could need for your Rega right back to the 1973 original.....

Stax SR L300 Limited Edition Headphones

To celebrate 75 years of making the worlds best headphones, Stax have introduced a new model, only a small number have been made and we have managed to secure three pairs. The SR L300 Limited is a combination of the L300 headband and ear pads, but with the drivers from the L700. At £645 these are just over half the price of a pair of L700 so are really good value!

New Demonstration room open

We have now finished our second (small) demonstration room.  We needed a more compact space to recreate a small lounge / bedroom set up.

The large panels on the walls are too break up sound reflections,  normally not needed, but this room has very little furniture in it .

The small picture frames are 'Art Vinyl'  a neat way to display your LPs - these cost £99 for a pack of three

New Rega Brochure!

I'm trying to remember if Rega, in the 34 years that I have been selling them, have ever produced a brochure.  It's quite a Rega-esque move, just as most companies are pulling out of printed literature, to produce a glossy and expensive looking full range brochure ...
